Hector Couto’s unique genre-defying sounds have left an intoxicating mark on dancefloors globally and landed him spots on RA’s top 100 charts. Hector Couto pushes genre boundaries further with his newest club forward house release on Defected. ‘Coming Back EP’ features three tracks infused with dynamic musical elements.

Title track ‘Coming Back’ weaves a deep thumping bassline and edgy 808 claps into a futuristic house sound before coming back deep again, ensuring the track plays out effortlessly as a club banger. ‘Detroit’ has a stripped-down inner-city feel that rolls with a driving beat, dark melodic bassline and echoing steel drum. Perfect for dark dance floors at peak time, the track’s deeply fulfilling rawness emits both a Chicago house and old-school techno vibe. ‘Lady Ragga’ maintains a similar stripped down vibe that exists throughout the entire EP, but this track is dubby with a rolling snare and is driven by rhythmic patterns that have clear jungle and reggae influence.
